Plainfield Park District Board Extends Pool Discount To Joliet Residents
The Plainfield Park District board is inviting Joliet Park District residents to visit the Ottawa Street Pool this summer and get the same discounted rate as its own residents.
That includes 50% off their daily entrance fee as well as saving $50 or more on season passes for a family of four by showing your ID at the Ottawa Street Pool, 23820 W. Ottawa St. in Plainfield. Find more details about daily entrance fees and season passes on our website, https://www.plfdparks.org/parks-facilities/facilities/ottawa-street-pool/.
In addition to daily access to the Plainfield Park District’s outdoor pool, season pass holders also get in 30 minutes before the general public and have free admission to all of the special events hosted there this summer including:
- June 22: Flick-n-Float Night: Bring your inner tube and enjoy the movie Little Giants under the stars on June 22! $3 entrance fee for non-season pass holders.
- Aquatic Fun Days: Starting June 26 and running through August 10, Aquatic Fun Days offer you a chance to serve as a lifeguard for a day, help the troops, or cool off with a root beer float or sundae. Admission is free on Community Appreciation Day, Aug. 10. See plfdparks.org for a full list of dates and events.
- Tuesdays: Family Float Nights are every Tuesday from 6:30-8:00p—Bring in your favorite floats, rafts and inner tubes.
