The Frankfort Police Department is releasing details about a of a battery incident on the Old Plank Road Trail. The victim stated that on Wednesday at around 9:45 a.m. she observed an unknown black male wearing a red and grey tight shirt, black spandex pants, and a stocking cap on the trail near the east side of the LaGrange Road bridge. Upon heading back east on the trail near the pond at Prairie Park she observed the same unknown male ahead of her on the path. As the victim passed the Indian Boundary passage, the offender emerged, grabbed her buttocks and ran away through the Indian Boundary Park. The victim described the offender as being male black, 5’6’’-5’10’’, with an athletic build. The suspect description is similar to a previous incident reported to the Frankfort Police on 10/23/19. The subject in the attached picture is considered a person of interest in this matter. Anyone with information regarding this incident or the identity of the pictured subject is asked to contact the Frankfort Police Department. Frankfort Police are asking our residents and community members to contact the police immediately if you observe any suspicious incident, vehicle, or person. The Frankfort Police Department is investigating this incident and will continue to conduct trail safety checks as always.
