Protestors Gather In Opposition Of Higher Income Taxes

Protestors are taking a stand against a graduated income tax proposal. It’s moving forward in the state Legislature after a House panel vote this week. The plan calls for giving 97 percent of state residents an income tax break at the expense of the state’s wealthiest residents. Demonstrators gathered at the Statehouse yesterday to protest what they call “over-taxation.”
