It was reported by the Kissimmee Utility Authority that a raccoon was responsible for a power outage. More than 3,000 homes in Florida went dark after the animal came into contact with the equipment around 1:40 in the afternoon on Sunday. Three primary feeder lines failed in the incident resulting in a 30-minute power outage. Is there a way humans can help assist wildlife to keep them safe around dangerous equipment or roads?
