It’s official. The annual Ribfest is moving to Wheaton this year. Festival organizers announced yesterday that the four-day event will shift to the DuPage County Fairgrounds. The move follows 32-years in Naperville and then a pandemic pause. But prior to the pandemic, Romeoville was going to be new home of the festival but Romeoville and the Exchange Club agreed to go their separate ways. The pandemic prevented Ribfest from occurring in Romeoville two years ago.   Organizers say the new venue will provide patrons plenty of space to enjoy the festival. Ribfest takes place June 17th through the 20th.
