Robbery During Breakfast At Fast Food Restaurant In Joliet

A few scary moments at a Joliet fast food place this morning. A robbery in broad daylight. Joliet Police officers responded to the Steak ‘n Shake located at 2675 Plainfield Road in reference to a robbery. It happened at approximately 8:30. Officers currently have a person in custody. No injuries reported. This is still an active investigation. More information will be coming out later. The Steak n’ Shake is open 24 hours a day.
