Shinedown’s Bassist Eric Bass Exits Tour

- Shinedown bassist Eric Bass has had to leave the band’s tour due to a back injury. He posted on Instagram Wednesday “what a difference 48 hours makes. From the stage and beast workouts to a spine institute. Don’t know if 44 is the new 24 or the new 84.”
- Josh Stern will fill in while Eric tries to get his back right. Stern’s a familiar face for Shinedown fans; he filled in for guitarist Zach Myers when he and his wife had a baby last year.
