Russ Evans

Born and raised in the Southlands, I was a proud local #174 union carpenter before hanging up my pouch for a microphone. I graduated in 2012 from the Illinois Center for Broadcasting top of my class and it’s then I realized radio was muy true passion. When I’m not in the studio you can find me with an ice cold beer in my hand around a back yard fire pit with family and friends. I have the southlands in my blood bu the Gulf in my soul. Some day I’ll trade the Great Lakes for Mother Ocean but until then, I’m happy spending my weekends on the Southlanld’s only rock station!
