Slash Confirms GN’R Album Is Happening

- Guns N’Roses guitarist Slash says the rumors are true and GN’R is getting ready to record their first new album in more than a decade.
- Earlier this week, Slash’s bandmate Richard Fortus said the band would hit the studio after Slash finished touring with his solo band The Conspirators.
- Now Slash has confirmed that once his current tour is over, he will “go back and get to work with Guns N’Roses and see where that goes.”
- Unfortunately, that won’t be for a while – Slash will be touring the world with the Conspirators at least through August of this year.
- Guns N’Roses haven’t released an album of new material since 2008’s Chinese Democracy, and Slash hasn’t appeared on a GN’R album since the mid-90’s.
