Slash On Who’s “The Greatest Rock ‘N Roll Band Ever”

- The debate over which rock band is the greatest of all time isn’t one that is easily settled. Everyone has an opinion on that question. But for Slash, he doesn’t hesitate with an answer.
- Speaking to Consequence of Sound, the Guns N’ Roses guitarist dropped the gauntlet.
- “AC/DC is bar none, with the exception of The Rolling Stones, the greatest rock ‘n roll band ever. The Stones will always come first for me and then AC/DC. There are no other bands that actually play that brand of really ’50s-influenced straight-up rock ‘n roll like AC/DC. I love them for that,” Slash gushed.
- Whether he’s reporting on the rumors or knows something personally, Slash also adds that he is especially thrilled that Brian Johnson and Cliff Williams are back with Aussie rockers.
