- When Slipknot released Iowa in September 2001, the record went straight to the top of the UK sales charts. Now 18 years later, it’s about to happen again.
- Official Charts reports that We Are Not Your Kind is trending well ahead of Ed Sheeran’s No.6 Collaborations Project by about 13,000 units.
- The band’s sixth studio album, which frontman Corey Taylor says features lyrics that are “darkest that I’ve gone in a long time,” is leading the way when it comes to physical copies sold and digital downloads over the weekend.
- Fans across the pond really dig Slipknot, with their last five records all reaching the Top 5.
