Stolen Vehicle Results In Police Chase And Crash

Heavy police presence in Romeoville following a stolen vehicle and police chase. The driver crashed into a ditch along Renwick Road just east of I-55 and fled. Police at one point had guns drawn looking for the suspect. Drones were said to be overhead. Assisting Romeoville police is Joliet, Will County and Plainfield Police departments. Joliet police Sgt. Chris Botzum confirms to WJOL that at least two people are in custody at Renwick and Old Renwick Trail.
