Teachers To Get Raise In Illinois

Governor J.B. Pritzker is signing a bill raising teacher salaries by 2023. The governor said today the law shows the state values teachers and will address the state’s teacher shortage.

He believes at least eight-thousand teachers will see salaries go up to 40-thousand dollars a year.  Governor Pritzker also blasted the state for not funding schools better.
