Texas Accent Ranked Sexiest in U.S.

- Apparently, there’s something about a slow Texas drawl that gets people’s chaps in a twist.
- Texas’ “Southern accent with a twist” tops this year’s list of the sexiest accents in the United States, compiled from a survey of 1.5 million people on social media. Pah-king their cahs at number two are the residents of Boston, followed by New York at number three. Maine checks in at number four, and Chicago’s nasal intonation rounds out the top five.
- The least sexiest accent? Oddly enough, it’s the one used by Long Islanders — which some might say isn’t a far cry from this year’s number three.
