The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office is seeking certified Illinois Police Officers to join our growing team of professional law enforcement deputies.

Lateral testing is being conducted on an on-going basis. Applicants may apply to test at their convenience and there is not an end date for lateral applicants.

Requirements:

Employed by a municipal, county, or state law enforcement agency within the State of Illinois as a Full-Time Police Officer for at least 2 years and currently certified by the Illinois Training and Standards Board and in good standing with current agency.
Benefit Information:

Lateral transfers start at up to $73,894.85 depending on years of service, with yearly step increases until maximum of $92,367.32 (effective 12/1/2021) is reached plus longevity pay is reached at 10 years of service in the amount of $0.15/hr for each year of service.
