A doctor from an online herpes treatment service called ‘HerpAlert’ said there might have been an outbreak at Coachella this year.

They normally handle 12 cases a day in Southern California.  But during the first two days of the festival, they received almost 250 inquires . . . about ten times more than their average.

And over the past two weeks, 1,105 cases have been reported to HerpAlert from around the Coachella Valley area.  The biggest previous spike in SoCal was during last year’s Oscars weekend, when they got a mere 60 cases a day.

There’s nothing official on an actual outbreak.  All we know is that a lot of people in Southern California were sending HerpAlert photos of their . . . situation . . . over the past two weeks, worried that they might have herpes.  So maybe it’s just a coincidence?
