Authorities in Japan are looking for a thief with ninja-like stealth who managed to steal 1 million yen – from a Ninja Museum. Earlier this week, someone took a safe containing the money – about $9,400 in U.S. dollars – from the Iga-ryu Ninja Museum in Japan’s Mie Prefecture. But rather than nunchucks and throwing stars, police say the thief used a good old-fashioned crowbar to force their way into the museum’s office. The museum is dedicated to the Iga, one of Japan’s most famous ninja clans dating back to feudal times. Where does this rank on the all-time ‘ironic crimes’ list? Did you go through a ‘ninja phase’ when you were growing up?
