Three Dead, One Hurt In Apparent Home Invasion In Bolingbrook

Three people are dead and another is wounded following an apparent home invasion in Bolingbrook. Police say officers were called out last night to a home in the 100 block of Lee Lane on a report of a possible home invasion. Officers found a man, woman and a girl shot to death inside. Another woman was taken to the hospital. A suspect has been detained.

At approximately 8:15 PM on Sunday March 5th, Bolingbrook Police responded to the 100 block of Lee Lane (Route 53 south of Boughton Road) for a report of a possible home invasion. Upon arrival, officers discovered three adults and one juvenile had been shot. At this time, one adult female, one adult male, and one juvenile female have been pronounced deceased. One adult female has been transported to an area hospital for treatment. At this time, there is no offender information available. This is an active crime scene and ongoing investigation.
