Illinois motorists are paying the highest prices for gas of any state in the Midwest, according to a study by Triple A. The study shows the average price per gallon of regular gas in the Land of Lincoln is three-dollars-nine-cents. The national price is about twenty cents below that. Missouri has the lowest price per gallon of any state in the Midwest at two-dollars-68-cents.
