Two Arrest in Connection to Joliet Armed Robbery
Joliet Police are sharing details regarding the arrest of two individiauls in connection with an armed robbery. It was on October 22nd at 2:27p.m. that officers responded to the 3100 block of W. Jefferson Street in reference to an armed robbery that occurred. Officers were able to determine that two suspects entered the back seat of the victim’s vehicle and produced a knife and firearm. The suspects then took cell phones, a bag, and currency from two victims prior to exiting the vehicle and then fled eastbound from the area.
During the course of the investigation, Officers were able to determine one of the suspects possibly lived in the 2900 block of Warren Doris. Officers located 21-year-old Andre Tucker and 19-year-old Romeo Nance in a vehicle in the 2900 block of Warren Doris. Both Tucker and Nance were positively identified as being the ones who robbed the victims and were placed into custody. A search of Nance located a knife on his person. Cannabis was also recovered inside the vehicle. Both Tucker and Nance were transported to the Joliet Police Station and booked on charges of Aggravated Armed Robbery and Possession of Cannabis over 100 grams.
