Two Men Arrested In Connection To Broadway Street Attack

The Joliet Police Department has announced the arrests of two men who are accused of attacking a man walking in the 500 block of North Broadway. It was at 5:30 a.m. on Saturday when Joliet Police were called after two men were seen attacking the victim seemingly out of nowhere. The victim was able to become free from the two men but not before being attacked a second time before seeing the attackers running off. The victim was repeatedly punched and kicked in the head during the attack. 32-year-old Abel Rodriguez and 29-year-old Zechariah Rodriguez have both been charged with aggravated battery charges. The two men were identified by the victim as they are neighbors. The two men are currently being held on $75,000
