The labor strike at John Deere is over. United Auto Workers union members voted yesterday to approve what was called the “last, best, and final offer” from Deere and Company. The contract will affect over ten-thousand workers at more than a dozen John Deere facilities. Deere workers in Iowa, Illinois, and Kansas have been on strike since October 14th after the union initially rejected a six-year proposed collective bargaining agreement a few days earlier.
