With Spring comes Construction!
Tonight (Friday, March 6th), the second year of the I-55 bridge replacement project near Channahon will commence.
Northbound I-55 will be reduced to a single lane from River Rd to Arsenal Rd from 9:00pm Friday until 5:00am Monday (March 6th), with simliar restrictions planned for next weekend, as well.
By the morning of Monday, March 16th, I-55 will be reduced to one lane in each direction full-time through late fall. Expect major delays approaching the workzone, and detour around the area if possible.
