- Magic mirror on the wall, what’s the most retweeted tweet of them all? Well, that would be an offer of free cash from a Japanese billionaire, of course.
- Yusaku Maezawa, who made his money in the fashion world, is worth about $3 billion. In celebration of his website hauling in a ton of dough over the holidays, he posted to Twitter that 100 random users who retweeted his message would receive a share of $925,000.
- The January 5th posting has received over 5.5 million retweets, snatching the title from Carter Wilkinson.
- Wilkinson came to fame in 2017 after asking Wendy’s how many retweets would it take to score free chicken nuggets. He eventually earned 3.5 million retweets, which was good enough for a year’s worth of free food from the fast food chain.
